A simple mini-game base on my puzzle map Labyrinth of Death. It is basically parts of it combined together to make a mini-game. Playing with a friend would be more fun but this is still enjoyable even when playing alone. It can keep you busy while waiting for your Sister/GF/Mother/Friend get dressed.
[​IMG] FEATURES
Choose from 6 options that will set the length of the marathon. It could be a 3 minute run (for pro's) to a 15 minute marathon. Glyph are also available ingame, however they can only be used once. Here's a list of the glyphs available in this mini-game.

Glyph Types and Description
[​IMG] RED Glyphs reduce speed.
[​IMG] GREEN Glyphs boost movement speed.
[​IMG] BLUE Glyphs heal your hero.
[​IMG] ORANGE Glyphs act as pathing blockers while sometimes just a warning.

There is also a variety of puzzles included in this map..

A pretty simple map.. (of course it's a mini-game!) Although there might be some things you would want to avoid doing.. like using jump ability to move through shortcuts (trust me, you're gonna regret it) and dying.. Well anyway, have fun!       "Marathon of DOOM" is a Mini-game that fits a racing, puzzle, and survival type of map which you need to win on a chosen time lapse.

      "the map is small, but it did fix a lot of cool and exciting puzzles inside the game, I find it very fitting for a racing game but with the obstacles in each area it gave it more challenge, although I suggest a few tips for your next update, in the elevator area show a timer in how long the disabled elevator will go up again, same goes to the random gates that closes in and out the passage, the lightning-like part of the map looks complex, show a zone indicator for players to pass safely instead of just run straight for it and deal damage, 1-2 players seems challenging, how about add more players more of just 3 to give more fun value."

      "I can't say much about the terrain right now since most of the location is fully-focused on the puzzles design in-game, although acceptable."

      "To my conclusion, its fun to play and very addictive ones you challenge yourself with the 3 minute time lapse part(I finish it 3 times now), but some information and some misfortune events came into my observations, I don't get it why you have to make the '[GAME MESSAGE] has left the game!' into some sort of entity even though its just a object for the game? its humorous but I say its not good-looking, the UI needs work convert the 'Quest' menu into a instruction tab and show how to play, features, credits, and change logs. Another is the gold/lumber/food/UPKEEP part in the top-right of the UI, either hide it since its not being used and its up to you what to fill it with, the Mountain King's soundset is very noisy ones you keep moving in across the map, remove it, and lastly your referring the MK's proper name from Mario & Luigi, how about use these http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/luigi-fire-flower-51196/?prev=search=luigi&d=list&r=20 & http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/mario-fire-flower-51195/?prev=search=mario&d=list&r=20 models to fit them handsomely?     Cool, i really like the map but how did you make the elevators??
    Edit:
    i Found a bug, if you pick before the other player and you use the jump ability to Jump over the gate, the game starts

    Fixed, Also added a map preview and cooldown for jump so that It won't be spammed..

    EDIT: attached a map with HQ loading screen just for the heck of it..

    Good job, try adding arrow keys system and slide abillity to slide under traps, and add more traps in the elevator maze and make it bigger

    Added a lot of effects.. but a friend of mine said that the sound effects are messed up.. dat true? (I don't have a speaker nor head sets or anything to listen to the sounds)

    i think you should test it your self am too lazy to test, try making another single player version for it, i would really like(i play only single player usally)

    a monster chasing the players till they reach the lap point, this serves as a filler for those who are slow in reaching a destination and ends up getting destroyed in a no-mercy manner :D

    however gets touched by the monster will be killed also the monster won't get hurt in any of the maze's damages and no effect in any of the traps but his disadvantage is a slow or medium movement speed.

    the monster can be any kind of object. May it be a giant boulder, a shadow, or just your regular giant orc grunt :>

    I think that's a pretty good idea, When I find the time, I think I'm gonna redo a lot of puzzles in the map, change the theme from mario into a racing game, and use arrow key controls. Basically redo 75% of the map. :3

    Am I the only one who finds it slightly weird to be recommended playing this map while waiting for my sister/mother get dressed? (Though I also like the sentiment that it could mean that they are either very slow, or that the map is shorter than it felt like).

    Any-who, I like the map :smile:
