If there's a rejected map, and you have an update; do you repost the map as new, or update it; and if you updated it how would you go about doing that?

I believe that rejected maps get deleted after a given amount of time...?

Since it's rejected I would post a new one, but clearly state that it is v2.00 of the map

There is an update button. Making another thread for that is against the rules.

There are two types of rejection.
rejected (for good) and rejected (until updated)
Usually moderators mark it as the latter which enables users to update it and it will return to pending.
rejected (for good) should only be used for maps/resources where the concept is against the rules (porn,nazi,racist) or if it has with small violations or bugs that don't get updated/fixed.

If it is rejected for good I suggest you contact a map moderator, tell him what has changed since the map/resource was rejected and that you want to appeal for pending state.

1) Please, don't compare hiveworkshop and wc3c with warc3.incgamers. We have quality control, not like incgamers where everything could be accepted soo easily.

2) Instant of flaming and trolling, why don't you just fix your map and request another review. It currently show how low you could be.

3) The hive and wc3c community have a much higher taste in resources quality. Just because it could please incgamerz community, it doesn't mean it would please the community at here and wc3c.

4) Rating 5 is useless if there is no constructive critism to go along with it as it would be more like ass kissing rather than being helpful.

5) Your map isn't as good you think it was. The poor triggering/scripting are the main part that cause errors. You obviously have no idea on how to use GUI.

Rating is useless because majority of the user either overrated or downrated it. Infact, it was rather inaccurate as some user just give it high rating barely because it was your first map or because the genre suit themselves while there is some of them does not rate it at all so they would not offend the person feeling and so on (This resulted into the map rating higher).

Infact, why don't you just make a comparison of the constructive reviewer at hive and wc3c compare to that site. I do not think you could even seen a reviewer that give more than 200 words per post about what's wrong in your map at incgamer compare to hive and wc3c.

The ironic part is, it was a map maker like you requesting a user to test your map to find out the flaw of your map and then flame and gone berserk when the user point out every single flaw of your map.

Let me tell you straight to the point, the staff have far more experience in it. They know what should have and what should not in a resources. I can guarantee you the staff of hive and wc3c know perfectly well what are they doing.

If you want to continue making a resources in inefficient way, stay at incgamer. If you want to improve, then stay and learn at hive and wc3c. After a period of time when you learn a few thing, you would know how poorly develop it was.
