Maps not working in WarIII

Now before anyone says "You need to rename and move and **** the maps to make them appear" (Wanna beat how long it'll take), this is not that problem!

The problem is that I can select maps, but I can't play them (No player selection ect). I have renamed, moved, ect, but I can't seem to play those maps. Can anyone help?

The map might be created, and now requires an other version of warcraft that you are using.

Ie, the map was created with 1.23 and you are using 1.24 (and the maps needs code / functions that are in 1.23, and not in 1.24)

Actually, the Map might have it's Trigger Fucked Up because of 1.24. A good example is Legends of the Second War by Avrion.

unless the map you want to play is not protected, and youre good at JASS, the only thing you can do is look for newer versions of the maps that are 1.24 compatible, or install wc3 in a different location, and patch to only 1.23, and play the maps on that wc3
