Just wondering, How do you know what warcraft III version your custom map is compatible with? Does it depend on your current warcraft III version?

It's hard to know unless you play the map itself and see for yourself. But as far as I know:

some maps made on v1.20-1.23 cannot be played on 1.24 and above unless you will have to fix some things. And maps that has a return bug issue cannot be played anymore in 1.24 and above version, to fix this, look at here: https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/world-editor-help-zone-98/help-map-return-bug-fix-165247/ and some issues about many maps unplayable on 1.24 and above versions that are made on older versions: https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/general-mapping-tutorials-278/make-map-work-patch-1-24-a-165482/

Ohhh now i get it. It's more complicated than what I thought. Anyway thank you. +rep
