Ive resized my maps few times with WEU (World Editor Unlimited, can be found here on hive) by importing terrein from an other map. However, the old terrein will be lost(units and regions will stay). I dont think that there is a way (dont touch camera bounds) to make the map bigger, and still keep the old terrein.
So what you need to do is:
Download WEU
Create a map with a needed mapsize
Export the terrein
Open your Need_Resize_Map
Import terrein
Give reputation to Doctor-Pepper :D

Why dont you touch the Change Camera bounds? I always do and have never had problems. Go to the Change Camera Bounds Thing, it should be under Scenario I think, by the Map desription and loading screen stuff. Check the Change map Size box then press the arrows unti you are happy.

I was saying use WEU to get to even bigger sizes like 512 and that because Doctor Pepper was being stupid and saying "Oh yes, if you change it you can go from 212 to 224. That will give us some space... (sarcasm)." You said the exact same thing I said too. Yay!

but the problem is i have a map and i want to resize it is that possible?
Yes, use camera stuff, there's an option which allows you to enlarge the map, in Scenario > Map Size & Camera Bounds or something.

This topic has a bad aura. I don't think it should stay open for any longer. I'll close it before it turns to an off-topic argument or even flaming.
