Greetings everybody, I know this may sound like a similar thread to others where people lost their maps, but I'm going to throw this out here because it's the only way I have a chance at recovering my old maps.
I actually lost access to 3 of my maps I was working on after I merely uninstalled and reinstalled WC3. Upon opening one of them, I'm met with multiple missing trigger notes:
Trigger function does not exist in database: CreateUnitAtLoc
Trigger function does not exist in database: Fighter1 (this was one of my variables)
Trigger function does not exist in database: GetUnitTypeId
Trigger function does not exist in database: itType
Trigger function does not exist in database: numUnit (assuming more of my variables are broken)
Trigger function does not exist in database: UnitTypeHero
Trigger function does not exist in database: true
then the editor crashes. I know this may be random, but I actually possibly completely remember what may be causing this. A while back, I once installed an addon for the World Editor that was for quality of life, helping me see which functions caused memory leaks. Next to all functions that cause memory leaks inside of the trigger editor, a very clear (LEAKS) string is appended to the end of them, which makes me believe that the lack of this addon is whats disabling my access to my maps. I understand that this may have been an addon that changes triggerfunctions, the triggerstrings and whatnot, and no matter what I do, I absolutely CANNOT find that addon on the internet anymore. Does anybody else have experience with this addon, that appends either a "LEAKS" or "(LEAKS)" message to the end of the memory-leaking functions within the GUI trigger editor? Does anybody know where to find it again?
Since I can access the earlier versions of my map, back when I didn't use that addon, that makes me truly 100% believe that if I can find this addon again, I might be able to recover my maps that took very long to make. It was a mistake to reinstall Wc3 without accounting for this.
If anybody can help me, I'd be very appreciated!
