Abyssal Frostforge I tried using downgrader, it only gives me a fatal error upon opening... Anyone else with better results using these programs want to give it a try too?
You need to create an empty map and use Ladik's MPQ Editor to replicate the terrain.
1- Open the source map using the tool.
2- Extract war3map.w3e (which contains the Terrain)
3- (Optional) Extract war3map.doo (Doodads) and war3mapUnits.doo (Units)
4- Open the target map using the same tool.
5- Import the files you extracted and overwrite the original ones.
It seems that doodads and units are not backward compatible with older versions of the game. The terrain works fine though.
You could use Map Adapter to downgrade the map, but as far as I know, that tool only lets you play newer maps on older versions of the game, but not modify them through the editor.

Depending on the case, it can be openable in editor since I used this tool to downgrade some of my spells to 1.31
It might be hard when the downgrading is over multiple patches, since there might be missing natives and all
I know this is technically double post, but I re-read the first post and I'd like to know if you aim on 1.32+ or 1.31- patch for that specific map. I suspect it is using the HD graphic which limits it to 1.32+, and assuming that is SD (which given the map's author record, I doubt it is SD), then the frame native in the trigger is at best 1.31, but not below that patch.
