Some icon im making for a map, not that good atm
just thought u should show you guys

Let's just say I have no clue what that is.

Then it needs to be way more defined. Try to show the individual parts of the feather, and tone down the background colors so your eye will actually focus on the feather.

Looks better, but why do you make those hideus backgrounds? Keep the backgrounds very simple, preferably black with only colors being supporting light to highlight the center of attention, in this case the knife.

I can definitely see the sword, but why are there 2 blades? It looks like one is a kind of blur like it's being swung very fast, but don't make it like that. Make it not red, maybe gray. Something like in this picture, if it helps you.
