I'm trying to make a channel spell which heals the target over time and drains the casters' mana. My first instinct was to try to adapt siphon mana but the best i can do is to transfer HP to a friendly unit (i.e. the caster is losing HP over time instead of mana).
Is there something I'm missing? Or will I have to resort to triggers for the desired effect?
