Make models smaller

Hi I have downloaded many models from this side and I want to now if I could make the models smaller witch a model program. What model program I have to download to make them smaller, and if I make them 50% smaller (250 kB-), how much lower are the quality going to be?

I most do this, but I don't like it, beaus my map is a little under 3 MB. And I have heard that battel.net are recommending 500-700 kB to avoid lag. So I most lower the size, and I don't want to remove any models because they are well done.

I think that the map are going to be 3200-3500 when its dune if I don´t lower the models size.

There are map compressors around the internet, that can compress your map quite a bit while still keeping quality.

And also, i have a map that is 3.9 mb, and it plays lagless on b.net just fine, and it was full house also.
