No. Map dev is for big projects that require a thread for various things. Project recruitment? This isn't a project. This is an "I'm bored thread" which features making a map in 2 hours, then playing it online. It doesn't fit any other topic than Off-Topic.

That's where you'd want competitions. Sounds like fun. Took me a few hours of work spread across 2 days to make a Tower Defense about 2 years ago. I enjoyed it.
(Unless that's still not what you're getting at here :v)
