Hey there, first of all sorry for my baaaad english, long time ago since i wrote in english

me and a friend are looking for great Wc3 rpg maps with long play ability. I play a long time TBR, Guilds of Hyppos, Ragos RPG, Gaias Retalation and Monster Master RPG

Now we are looking for new Maps, is there any Map which is a must play and it takes weeks or even month to "okay now i beat everything"

Important points:
- MUST!! doable for 2 players. We dont have 4 players to beat a min. 4 Players RPG like Gaia´s

- Many Items (Craftables, Secrets and so on like FFepicRPG or TBR)

- Decent Grafik. I made some maps by myself and they are looking quite decent, i dont looking for ugly grafic, it must have a bit "love"

- Nice Gameplay flow (This means, tbr is really fun and its awesome, but its annoying to save the villiage every 20 min)

- i prefer open RPG, storyline RPG are fun and nice, but we want to farm, level, and hit big monsters in they ugly face really often.

Save and load System btw Guilds of Hyppos has one of the best Systems^^

Ah last point: ONLY RPG MAPS, we dont need Battleships, Dota or something like that. We hate it.

Maps i played or tested:
Gaias Retalations: Great game, but not doable with 2 players
TBR: Awesome game, but we played it till the end
FFepicRPG: Awesome too, but same as TBR
Monster Master RPG: Played it with the latest Patch, nothing new.
Ragos RPG: not doable with 2 Players
Tkok: Not doable with 2 players, and very short play time

i will add more maps as u offer me some maps^^

I thank u very much for every good tip

Wuuuut, you played DLO? We should play it sometime... i _love_ that map.

@Topic: you should try TKoK: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...m-3-3-0f-146077/?prev=search=tkok&d=list&r=20
Its a very teambased RPG with difficult bossfights. Actually its recommended to be played with 3+ players, but if you're good you can do lots of stuff with 2 players. You will need a healer (Cleric/Paladin) and a DPS/Offtank (Barb, Ranger, maybe Chaotic Knight). Good luck.

€: i just saw you already played TKoK, well i know some people who did it with 2 players, but its not easy..

"The World" is a really crappy map.
Zero teamplay, endless farming (stuff drops from bosses like with 0.000000235%), Heroes are silly (Martial Artist has only passives, very fun to play >.<).

About Ragos (which is like the best Wc3 rpg ever made): You can do it with 2 players, as you can always pick heroes for the empty slots. They are slightly worse equipped than an average human player, but it does the job. Its recommended that you bring at least your own tank, as the computer tanks arent that good... and a strong tank helps a lot. I think you can at least beat the first 6 maps if you play Warrior and Priest.

One more thing you could try: Eclipse ORPG. Its not very teambased and the items are a bit boring, but if you never played it its definitely worth a shot.

I'm sorry but you've lost all credibility. I'm not a huge martial artist fan but the game itself is really good. If you say there's no teamplay you obviously haven't gotten past lvl 200 on any hero.

I do agree with this. Although it has flaws it is still a pretty decent RPG. You can progress quite quickly averaging 1-2 levels a minute if you know what you are doing. There is quite a lot of choice with 1-2 dozen classes to choose from. It also uses non-standard WC3 mechanics with scaling abilities and sorts.

Sure it lacks the polish of Gaias but...
Gaias Retalations: Great game, but not doable with 2 players
He has already played it apparently and I am guessing has had enough of it. If he wants a low man 2 player RPG, The World kind of fits that description quite well and he has not played it already.

I have a lvl ~260 Paladin, Cleric with average gear.

Maybe we just have a different understanding of what Teamplay means. People standing next to each other spamming spells each for himself is not what i consider teamplay (teamplay doesnt mean there is more than 1 person attacking the same mob). Its okay if you like the map (i dont but i accept that people have different preferences), but the map has nothing to do with teamplay.

Please don't demean the game if you're not going to play it.

Why not? Im not going to play it again because when i tried it i didnt enjoy it for the reasons i stated above. I dont judge maps i didnt at least test once, but i played it and i didnt like it, so im sharing my negative experience with other potential players (which is the exact purpose of this thread). Im not saying he shouldnt try it, but if hes looking for a teambased rpg then its not the right choice.

I would personally put a hold on Eclipse as it just got a new team of editors/Staff to update the map. With that being said, there is a 95% of a codewipe due to their massive changes/updates on the entirety of the map in general
