Locking Player Colors???

how the hell can you do this? i've probably disected the player/ally options 1million times and i still can't figure it out.

and also, i need help creating a Ressurection ability that's based like this.

Event:

a unit casts an ability

Condition:

ability being cast is equal to ressurection

item target of ability being cast is equal to corpse

Action:

Game: Text Message (Explicitly Timed) to Player(owner of casting unit): Ressurection: Please type the color of the player you wish to revive.

Choices: red, blue, green, purple, pink, yellow, orange, teal, and one more but i forget (but the choices are the first 8 player colors)

SO in order to do this effectively, i must be able to lock color choice so a player can't choose another color in the begining, ruining the ability.

can someone help me?

and also i need help with making that trigger effective. so.. anyone?
