Would anyone please be able to tell me how I can make it so that whenever a player joins a game and enters the lobby, that player is immediately greeted with an automatic message in the text window of some kind?

You have to use bots for that, you can't use the World Editor to do it.

This has nothing to do with the World Editor or any third party modification of it.

You will need some kind of bot to do this. The most common one is GhostOne.

Thanks for the second opinion, Dr Super Good, but I don't think I'll be interested in achieving this end at all if a bot will be required in order to do so.
