(I'm referring to the starcraft models in the model section...)
I can load each model individually... but those that share blp files don't work when they are all loaded. Is there some extra step I need to take to load models that share blp files with the same name?

I'm with Rederer. I can assemble a huge protoss base and have no problems. Maybe, just maybe, you should first import all of the files (Just import 1 of the ones that are used on many models), then import the models, then save, then close down World Editor, then open it, then load your map, then try and see if they work, which they should unless you have forgotten something
