I've been trying to connect 2 maps so the hero can travel between them, keeping his items, level and abilities.
So far it's going ok, atleast i don't think it's the game cache. the game actually saves and shuts down when i try to "travel" - it does NOT load the next map however.
By opening the second map from withing the game menu it placed me in, i get my hero with the right level, abilities and items spawning in. so we are loading the correct variables
My only problem really is that it doesn't open up the next map for me. the trigger i'm using for the travelling is:
Game - Save game as BarrenSaveFile.w3z and change level to game cache test 2.w3x (Skip scores)
I believe this is the best option for when the 2 maps are not a campaign, I have tried to set next level and grant victory - this also just kicks me out to the WC3 main menu.
