How could I use the internal loading screen then edit them and using them again ? but I don't want to reduce of the image quality ? IF THAT IS POSSIBLE.
I don't mean a specific one but I'll tell you what's on my mind. In the expansion there was a custom campain for the Orcs and its loading screen was the world map with "X" locating the location were the campaign takes place, when I select this loading screen it has no "X" sign. What I ask is after editing this screen how could I add it and I also noted that this screen is divided into 4 quarters and there is a model that reattach them together. Thanks for any help in advance.
Just grab it from the mpq with winMPQ, then use magos' to get the texture, convert it to a jpeg or something you can work with, edit it, convert it back to a blp, turn it into a loading screen again with magos, then import it into your map. Done.
well the X is actually on the texture, although i think MAYBE if you were to set it up, for a campaign in an mpq?, you could use a model right infront of it, flat, but i duno if any non square model will work for a loadingscreen, although i dont see a reason it wouldnt
