Loading screen - image blurred

Hello!

I wanted to do custom loading screen for my map. It's nothing special. Made in Paint.NET, but I think it is good for provisional loading image. The problem is - it is very blurred in game. I don't know why, because the original image is in a good quality in my opinion.

I won't upload 512x512 version, 'cause I deleted it.

How does it look in-game

It would require you to split the image into 4 parts (two 512x512 and the other two 512x256) then converting all pieces to BLP then import them.

These images ARE splitted to 4, but they're .tga files. I'll try to convert them.

It doesn't really matter if you're using .tga or .blp. The only difference in them is that .blp has a lower filesize.

It's probably because of your WarCraft III settings. Texture Display could be set to Low.

Green!X: Maybe yes. My main PC is broken, so I'm using old one right now and I've set graphics to low.

But as I said. I don't like this loading screen very much. It will probably change many times.

I've completely changed my mind. My own loading screen was very ugly, so I decided I could edit this one:

I want to get ONLY image, without list of players, but I cannot find it in game files. Tried to google it, still nothing. Do you guys know where this one is located?

I probably bother you too much, right But I'm new to editor. And everyone had to teach how to use it someday.

I read it already. It doesn't show how to get default image.

Did you do this?

Lastly, inside the World Editor, click on Scenario, Map Loading Screen. Check the button that says Use Imported File, and select LoadingScreen.mdx. You can still use custom loading screen text on your map as well.

Just as I did. It's probably because of bad image. That's why I want now to get the classic loading screen out of the game, edit it and put it back as custom screen.

OH now i get it, you find them in the mpq in "/UI/Glues". Use a MPQ browser or the Warcraft3Viewer to extract them.

There is no such folder as UI in my Warcraft root folder.
