Little Problem on C:\

Okay, every time I open C:\ by double click or right click > open, it gives me an error message - picture here:

When I search the HD, or do right click > explore, it works fine - it's just a little annoying to do, I'd just like to fix it.

The open folder action may have been changed or corrupted.

Before delving into the registry to try and figure out the problem, you should try emptying the recycle bin and checking your hard drive for errors (using chkdsk).

Recycling bin is empty, have done that several times. I'm doing chkdsk right now - if it is chkdsk.exe, ran it via Run? That right?

It said some stuff about a journal etc, and then exited. When I tried to open C:\ again, didn't work. :\

Open the command prompt (cmd.exe)

Run this: chkdsk /r c:
When it prompts you about scheduling the disk check, type "y"
Restart the computer and allow the check to complete.
