[Spell] little help whith a especific Spell

Hey there i'm almost finishing my first custom map (YAY) but i'm needing a little help here to create a custom spell
it's a fire star that is launched at the target (it's that kindda spell that you don't target a enemy or a area of effect you choose the direction it goes)(just like alleria arrows in DOTA) so
this fire star is launched at the enemy dealing 200 dmgsome bonus dmg depending the distance it goes until hit the target (it's not a homming missile) but i tryed everything and this skill Never works if you have any doubt about how this skill look's like take a look at a map created by Emoo called pokemon world there you will se a skill on charizad called fire blast
i want to reproduce that skill on my map whithout any change so if someone can help me i would be gratefull XD Ahh and also if u can teach me how to make atribbute dmg skills

If you want it to deal damage based on the distance traveled you cannot use a normal spell, that requires use of triggers. Same goes for attribute damage, you cannot do that in object editor. If you are not familiar with the trigger editor then i suggest you look at some tutorials before even thinking about doing this.

Finaly, if you are familiar with the trigger editor, but you just dont know how to base damage on hero stats then i can help you. The hero stats are not real values, that is why you cannot find them when simply setting a value. But one of the things you can choose is to "convert real to integer". With this you can open another window, where you can find hero stats, and lots of other things that uses integer numbers.

I'm really gratefull to all of you that tryed to help over here but the missle model my friend up here gave to me was not exactaly what i wass looking for I am looking for a big Fire star that that is not spining like the glaive trower example

So to put it simply you want to have a similar spell like alleria but the longer it travels it deals more damage?
Then make a triggered spell with a dummy being the arrow missile, make it move using triggers with the every x seconds event. and within that trigger, you make a real variable containing the damage bonus' amount, then in that trigger you also check whether that unit is damaged using two unit groups to seperate the damaged ones and the ones havent receive damage, and when it has reached the limit(just add a generic tiemr to the dummy) you kill it/with timer it will die it self.

I hope you understand.

thx bro but another doubt i was finishing some damage spells and then BANG!!! i noticed that the unit casting the spell can't earn experience when this skill finish the fight u know i use storm bolt exemple, when i use it on a unit whit 1 hp it shuould dead isn't it, well, it actually dies but the experince is not earned, WHY? how do i fix it?

another one i was thrying to finish inuyasha ability wind scar
so i used the shockwave since i'ts really look's like the anime original skill
but when a lot of them (shockwave) is used on the same direction the ground goes deeper, Why? how can i make it not happen?
