Linux distribution

Hello guys, i'm back after a long time!

I'm searching for a good linux distribution.. (got sick of windows)

What do you think? Ubuntu / Fedora / Backtrack ?

You are aware that modern windows versions come with built in unix components? You just need to turn them on and install some programs and you can do a lot (like bash script gcc etc).

If you're new to Linux then I recommend Ubuntu 11.04.

I used to have Ubuntu as an alternate boot for a year or so. Well i can't say it impressed me..

Then i bought a new computer with Windows 7 pre-installed.
Most of my free time i'm doing penetration tests on different systems.(not like a job or something)
I tried to use virtualbox to install backtrack there, but meh it was too slow for me. So i'm mostly thinking about it..
