All Linux users should probably read this! Huge holes in Linux security! I'm not saying that Linux sucks but perhaps you guys could fix the problem yourselves? It's open source after all or perhaps you could wait for a patch.

This is a network security problem, just because it relates to security does not mean your computer can be taken over.

Open source is still the way to go.

Also, this specifically affects Debian and its derivatives like Ubuntu. Those using one of the many other Linux distros (Slackware, Fedora/RedHat, SuSE, Gentoo, etc...) are likely not directly affected.

I know it won't make your computer vulnerable for a takeover but they still see your activities etc.
