Lightning effect

Hey guys,
i got a little problem:
i created a unit and changed it flying high
after this i created a lightning effect from the flying unit to another unit

well... the lightning effect appears at the ground, and not in the air

my question: how to create flying lightning effects?

thx for the help, and sorry for my bad english :P
