Maybe I will sound stupid, but what do you mean by mesh? Chains?Very nice, I love the variations since I do get tired of using the same Lich model everywhere. The only thing I'd suggest is the meshes could be edited a bit more to make them all a bit more unique

Nah, more like actually editing the "model" itself how it looks, moving the vertices about, swapping out bits of the mesh, geo-merging etc. See below, where someone's editing a mesh in blender, Retera Model Studio can edit meshes for Warcraft models
Well, you know, liches and death knights can have variations for many factions, because they have both humans and orcs in their ranks. First liches were orcs, but most known lich is Kelthuzad, human. And if there are good undead or good dreadlord, why there cannot be a good lich?Although Liches are just evil creatures to me, now is the era of custom skins, and they can bring a lot of variety to some maps. The Blackrock with its black-gold combination is a thing, also love the Alliance one with great white patterns and want to underline the Stormwind lion-to-ribs idea, looks great
The only one Lich friendly to player side i know in game is that one in Ebonblade faction. But anyway you do a good job. 
Amal'thazad (Ebon blade), Gunther Arcanus (horde) and Meryl Felstorm (kirintor). but the latter two guys don't show a form of lich in-game (WOW). In most occasions we see them at evil side (not include shadowlands story)
Sure. I myself just editing models of Ujimasa, I see no reason why I should have problem with someone edit my work
