This story, of course, comes from the long list of unwritten legends..

It is said that every hundred years or so a mysterious tournament is held, hosted by a secret society of powerful wizards. If they are of our world, we do not even know. But what we know is that they possess powers that equal demigods. With their combined magics they shape the perfect battlefield from in the midst of the unknown, this is where the tournament is based. With powerful magic surrounding the arena, the battles ensue without any outside intervention. The wizards seek out and call upon their own hero, agreeing to grant them anything. The wizards fight among themselves for greater power within their society, the chosen champions fight for their own glory. In the very end only a few will be left standing, worthy to be proclaimed as true Legends.

Major Features :
*Strategic Skill Building System
-each hero has 5 abilities with 10 levels each, but the level cap is only until level 30.
-this set-up makes for a more strategic perspective in hero play, you must choose which abilities to maximize or leave weakened and develop your own style for your hero.

*Honor Points System
-the game revolves around collecting Honor Points for yourself and the team to achive victory.
-currently you only gain HP by killing enemy heroes and creeps, expect that more dynamics will be introduced soon.

*Hybrid Gameplay
-there are 2 'lanes' in the map but they will only spawn creeps (Ghost Armors) for you every 3:30 minutes (3 waves will be spawned).
-you must face the hero/es that is pushing the lane or you risk to lose a tower.
-because the spawn rate is slow, you must train with the neutral creeps to earn more experience.
-currently, the game is a bit more of a hero arena. but soon more 'sidequests' will be added like : neutral bosses, capturing items/buildings, forced duels, special events, etc.

Minor Features :
*Regen Drops
-hp and mana regen runes randomly drop from neutral creeps to minimize potion expenses.

*Neutral Creep Growth
-the Neutral Hostile camps have upgrades that gain a level every 5:45 minutes.

*Experience Per Hit
-heroes gain experience points per hit on a creep or hero.
-the gain is proportional to the damage done (using normal attack and spells) to the attacked unit's hitpoints so multi-hitters are not abusive.
-the total exp given out by a certain unit is always the same, based on its hp.

*Sliding Attack System
-when things fight they don't just stand there and hit each other, don't they?
-my self made system adds some aspects of aesthetics and realism.
-fighting units strafe as they battle!

*Adjustable Game Camera
-a set of commands to adjust the game camera to your liking.
- "-camd x" Set your camera-distance-to-target to x.
- "-cama x" Set your camera-angle-of-attack to x.
- "-caml" Toggle camera-lock on/off to your hero.

*Other Stats Display
-a set of commands to view your hero's other unseen stats.
- "-ms" Displays movespeed of selected unit/s.
- "-rg" Displays average hp and mana regeneration of selected unit/s.
- "-st" Displays both -ms and -rg.

*Numerous Custom Models / Icons / Skins
-some from Hiveworkshop..
-but many made by myself, most are unreleased.. :p.

*Removed Tower Mechanisms.. they can now be destroyed.
made towers 'ancients'.. to fix targeting bug.
changed training points... to honor system

This hero arena has quite a potential. First of all, I personally dislike the hero choice system. I always prefer taverns to anything, but that is on you to choose. Next, what ruins this map the most is the Blizzard terrain. You should really make your own terrain. Make tactical advantages and disadvantages on it etc. Playing on a Blizzard terrain just isn't fun. The heroes are well done, nice spells, working hotkeys and decent tooltips. The presentation of the map is good aswell. Approved with a 3/5 (Useful) rating.

Interesting idea..
But not that exciting.
Rather repetitive.

It's nice to see this has only orbs as items, so it really does depend on the hero choice.
Terrain is simple, which is nice because it means it's uncluttered, so your abilities are easier to use and look more impressive.
You can attack the towers once they've been captured and make them your own - not really much difference, but if it's being attacked by the enemy and you get the last strike in, it's on your team again instead of switching over.
