OK, this is my new map that is overriding my remake of ocarina of time. I decided an original map and idea would be better. It's still in early development stages, but it will be a campaign with roughly 8 to 9 dungeons and mid dungeon quests etc. It will save integers such as heart pieces, collectibles and bonus items (like special arrows etc).

Thus far I have only made the movement system (currently bugless, fully 3D, arrow key system from GUI), some of the first area and a plan for the first dungeon. The storyline is thus,

Link, weary from his adventures in Termina decides to seek quests in a new region of the world. He carries on relentlessly into a snowy summit, where he is robbed of his items, left with only a sword and shield. He is gravely injured and needs to seek help immediately. Unbeknownst to Link he has entered the world of Serrin, where a magical and dark entity is trying to seal energies to carry out dark and evil plans...

As the map progress I will add updates and screenies, but for now some basic screenies will do and I'll continue work on part 1.

Oh and yes that great fairy skin was done by myself.
As for races included, so far I will only reveal the seal race living in the summit, a new Zelda race called the Walren. They stick to themselves generally and are quite lazy.

Looks really good! im curious about a couple of things

Is their any magical item like the ocarina or wind waker in the game??
So this is ge oing to be about adult link right??
Any hints on what the element of the other dungeons will be? :D
Any other information that can be giving without giving off alot?

Looks awesome! I love the Zelda series and this looks very well-made. It's too bad, that Link model is pretty odd looking... But either way, this looks to be very fun. And nice fairy skin!

The only magic I can currently reveal is the spin attack which is fully animated and works well... but yes there will be many items found along the way. I plan to have 3 spellbooks worth (that make's 33 items in total). 11 magic using items, 11 weapons and 11 miscellaneous items. I can also reveal there will be a gold skultulla collecting kind of miniquest, but seeming once you leave a chapter you can't return it will be something you'll need to invest much time into each chapter for...

And as for any more spoilers.... I'm working on a goron skin over the warcraft 3 frog model... :grin: couldn't leave them out

looks nice :D.......any chance their willl be a musical instrument in this game?

also ive started another link model so when i finish the skin i'll post a picture here for you to decide if you want to use it

Well I'm sure the skin would rock, but it's the animating that will be hard, as the model would need the same animations as the model I'm using (uses about 10 of them so far).

And not sure if I'll have an instrument but I've added another feature.

Gold skultullas are in the quest, 10 for each chapter to be precise, and they're deviously hidden. The good thing is all you need to do to catch them is click on them.

And I've made an item called the sunstone, which turns day to night and vice versa so you can find skultullas. The quest for the item isn't too tricky either

it's not that hard to look at that one's animations for a reference to make my models similar lol

that sunstone sounds really cool :D

when you said 11 different weapons, you meant that their are 11 swords or 11 complete different weapons (with the exception of like 4 swords, and blah blah

Ah, swords, tunics, boots and shields are separate because they aren't in spellbooks I use item arrays to change the held items. At any time you can change your held 6 items to either go to your equipment (sword, shield, tunic, boots), quest items (like a fish, sticks etc), your bottles (empty until you catch things in them or find one), then theres an interact command which lets you talk/open doors etc, then a reset command in case you get stuck (it happens rarely). Then the remaining 3 abilities so far are spellbooks (not including the sword slash and raising your shield). One has magic like the spin attack, dins fire etc (not in this map, just an example). The other has weapons like arrows, hookshot etc. The final has random items like the sunstone that dont harm anything but still have effects.
