League of Legends, Free Independent AoS

Hey guys, if you don't know of it yet League of Legends is an AoS style game independent of warcraft3. It has many features unavailable to the warcraft engine and is specifically designed to suit the AoS style of play. If you feel like trying it, please use one of the links below.

I normally don't enjoy AoS but I've been playing LoL a lot recently and I find it quite entertaining, so if you feel like trying it out by all means do, and have fun with it.

well Iunno, about 50/50, I searched and didn't see another LoL thread so I figured I'd start one. I'd obviously like the reference of course but it's not a big deal, thus why I put the link for w/o reference. It's also nice to have an AoS system that specializes in removing at least some of the BS commonly found when playing on BNet. So if you're looking for a new free game might as well give it a shot.

and yeah it is a lot like HoN, except where LoL is an AoS of it's own, HoN is specifically styled for DotA. So people who just enjoy AoS may enjoy LoL more, whereas those who only really enjoy DotA might find HoN better suited for their style of play. It's all preference really.

Edit: also, the reward system gives out prizes for up to 10k references, that's a little ridiculous.

If you are looking for a really good AoS, try Heroes of Newerth. LoL is more...cartoonish and silly, but hey, thats my opinion.
