Lamp Post Texture Change

I wanted to make a quick edit of it to make it appear that its "off". I know very little about model editting, but figured I could change the texture that makes it white. I Followed this tutorial to learn how to change an existing texture on a model: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/3d-modeling-tutorials-282/add-multiple-skins-single-model-262796/

I also found out I needed to delete this "generic glow" texture, and the model looked great! Imported it into my map, but a green box comes up, so I've done something wrong. I've attached the modified lamp model and the modified texture.

How about a model with both versions in one? Stand is light off, and Stand Alternate is light on.

Edit: Made it so you don't need the extra texture.
