JNGP yeah, but no vjass

for some reason, vjass dont work in my JNGP. i tried redowloading it, checked if i accidentally checked the "disable vjass syntax" thingy, but i cant seem to isolate the error.

Is there any sort of thing i need to do to install it(other than extracting the thing)

Make sure you checked only ''Enable JASSHelper'' and you checked (\/) ''Disable WE Syntax'' in Grimore

It has problems with patch version 1.23b. You need to manually update parts of it.

hm, i found out soemthing. the vjass syntax is actually working, kinda. however, the syntax checker registers errors as if vjass wasn't there. its not as much a problem as a nuisance, but DSG, what parts, and how do i go about that?

If your talking about the syntax checking in the trigger editor, it doesnt work. Just save the map and see if it gives errors. Thats about the only way to make sure it works properly.
