That has indeed some General Frank vibes !
But I has some design concerns :
☼ The tracks are hardly visible, why animating them in the first place ?
☼ The way the tank fire would benefit from more juice. I would see the gun fire first, then the gun knock back, then slamming on the turret, which bends a bit, then the whole tank knocking back. Here you do everything at once which gives a robotic feel.
☼ When walking the tank could jiggle a bit randomly to simulate rolling on rough terrain
☼ The overall shape is very square and flat ; which makes it a bit hard to distinguish from which direction it is facing. The textures doesn't help much by blending the 3D details.
I don't mind something deviating from the inspiration, and the tank is enough as it is. But I'm curious on how it could be improved !
