It's a good base for a drawing. You need to go through now and prune unnecessary lines, and shade in necessary areas.

Study your hand and turn it into shapes and experiment with those shapes, after that you shouldnt need to draw your hand directly.

Attached to post as asked. Basically the reason I drew my hand directly was to see if I actually could. Sometimes I just draw for want of something to do, and this was one of those times. Just occured to me that I forgot some of the small details like the hairs on the back of my hand, and some of the crazy blemish type things. Turning it into shapes and stuff never really occured to me, I should probably try it. Thanks for the advice. By the way, the size it is at (635x740) is already a lot smaller than it was when I first scanned it in (1588x1850 after cropping). I guess I could reduce the size a bit more, but maybe later.
