Item Type Trigger

Okay so in my game my goal is to only allow you to hold one item type at a time. (one weapon at a time)

I've made all my weapons the type Permanent. Can anyone give me a trigger, or show me a tutorial on how to do this?

it is possible to edit the size of the inventory to only allow units to carry a single item. though wether that is what you want is a mystery to me.
