you mean if the unit which carries the item the item should drop? if so, modify the ability, check "drop items on death"

Nonono, how to make an ITEM that dies respawn, if someone attacks the ITEM and then it is just gone. I want to have it back when it is destroyed. Sorry for being so unclear.

hmm, that will be hard, there are no item events in GUI (don't know if there are some in JASS) so you cannot detect when an item is destroyed
