Item Buff problem

I cannot change the buff of the healing salve and other potion items(Clarity Potion, etc.). I tried replacing it using the same buff with a different description and name and it don't work.

the buff is the icon that you see in the status bar of a unit. When you use an item like healing salve, a buff appears at the status bar.

Just make an item and make an custom ability based on clarity potion, then go make buff based on C.P. and put an item ability... It should work

Obviously he is trying to change the buff the unit gets from using healing salve...
To change the buff, go to buff category, make a buff, then go to abilities, find healing salve ability and make a copy of it, change the buff in the ability to your custom buff and set healing salves Item ability to the custom ability.

That's what my problem is. I tried to change the buff but when i tried using the item, the default buff shows up..
