Don't know if this is against the rules but i hope not.

I have downloaded a game and it appears to be a .ISO file, well.. no problem with that i just mounted it and then instead of installing or anything the thing just opened a map with all kinds of data that should be in the game. I searched everywhere for an .EXE but there appears to be none ...

Am i screwed now or what?

Hm... try mounting it with Daemon Tools. They seem to work with me, it's like a "virtual CD" thing where you just select the ISO file and run Daemon Tools and it will open the game for you.

And he said nothing about illegal things, so don't start the whole "oh mai gawd it's illegal" regime.

Because it's highly unlikely that a game downloaded in .iso format could be an illegal copy of a game...
And would you go right out and say that you're doing something illegal if you were?

I use magicdisc, its the same as daemontools only it runs some different file types which daemon tools cant run. Although daemon tools again can run some files magic disc cant run xD
But i will try daemon tools.

And i didn't give a link or said about which game i was talking, so how could it be illegal.

Oh, I never said anything about that you were talking about anything illegal. It was just a questionized statement. ;)

Anyway, if there isn't any .exe file in the folder, is there any kind of .bat file that puts the files together?

If you read his post you'd know he tried mounting, but it instead opened a folder containing the files of the game but with no .exe.

Keep searching for the setup file(normally setup.exe), I guess it could be in a WinRAR archive, so try looking through those if there is any. Go to the site where you found the torrent, and see if anyone else has found problems; preferably a solution.

Bah, i tried daemon tools but it did, as i expected, just open the map again instead of run anything. My brother looked into it and he believes that there should be another disc (So anohter .ISO image that is disc 2 or something).

And i can't find the site anymore i think =/
