Im looking for a way to morph the hero to a random hero and to a flying hero if such thing is possible t o make.

-most importantly i want to change the 'model', appearance of the the hero not the stats, and creating a unit with different hp even if i use set life of x to life of Y, still like using e.g a footman moprh of a future hero, with the low hp and low dmg etc etc. causes leaks and smth like that up is way better. I want to change only the appearance as a morph.

So based on Metamorphosis or all sorts of morphing abilities (without using hide hero/create unit , remove unit and unhide hero where you hide and add a unit instead of the hero u dont morph) is it possible to:

1)to change the 'Alternate form' into a random hero. (e.g using Jass?).
2) Can i make a flying hero so that i can use metamorhpsis with which the hero to transform to this flying hero without adding units with models of the hero ? Blizzard havent created any air heroes would be imba but not for custom games. So is there a way to make flying hero too ? Is there a Program that can make a hero flying unit so that you can morph ?
3)And also is there a way to change only the alternate unit once again to the 'look/appearance' a target unit of ability being cast (targets: only heroes ofc).If thats beyond the triggers, can these types of change in the alternate be done with JASS ? How ?

And regarding 3), do u remember in dota, v5.65 etc years ago, there was the Morphling ability to turn into any targeted hero. How was that done too ?

Word has it changing things particularly heroes is always bad news.

From what it sounds like you want a hero to actually morph during game play. This might be accomplished if you added extra things to the set hand and head points, as a character levels.

This would be particularly tricky especially if you wanted it to happen multiple times.

You would have to use a 3D model editing program to model each morph-change which would then be added on at a specified time or level. Each model-morph would have to be specific to that type of model because it's unlikely any particular model-morph you made for one character would fit another character.

To make a flying hero just adjust the height in positive integers. (distance from bottom of model to bottom of map)

3) Maybe, never read about it being done or seen it done in a map though.

Maybe GUI?

Lastly, Don't get angry because nobody responded. There arn't a lot of highly skilled map makers with nothing to do but browse the forums looking to answer newbie questions.

I thank you for answering .Well it seems hard with using a 3D model editing program but u just made me remember that ive seen morphin to smth else with levels of metamorph!

But even if you use that 3D model editing prog, its about changing the models. If i understand right, you mean to create with such prog a model e.g Bloodmage that changes his model like a chameleon to smth else every time and use this 1 and the BM with the diff models as alternate form unit. Meh, thats hard but i might rather use 1 morph form for each different mission. Or i may use already selected with levels of metamorph and use triggs to reduce/incerase level.

It seems there is no way the alternate unit to be made with triggers even JASS since the alternate form is model thingy not triggers. Thx for the answe anyway and thx for remindig me the easiest model for flying hero, cause i saw the dumbest thing ever - create unit/hide hero/remove unit/unhide hero for flying instead of simply changing the a copy of the hero's height and using crow form.
