I've actually never heard of anything like that. Hmm, untapped market I suppose.

No, I've tried those. Beyond the bugs and lag you get the problems of not enough people and the fact that WoW's classes are boring and tiresome. The only WoW I'd want to relive is BC, and there's only one server out there... and it isn't insta-70.

If there really isn't anything like this out there that isn't a mod (Impossible Bosses), I'm almost tempted to try and develop something.

If I were to do it I suppose it'd be 2D top-down or maybe isometric, real simple graphics, and entirely focused on gameplay. At least at first... hmmm...

Vindictus for sure.
( WARNING: Do not even come near this game if you hate bosses which kill you in 7 hits or less. And oh, you get around 0.5 seconds to dodge the attack. Really fun though, if you have the reflexes of an ace FPS player. )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r04m84uyaX4&feature=related < As you can see, totally nerve wracking to fight something that has a hammer as large as you, and refuses to die.

Level 1 dumps you into a dungeon straight away ( indeed the tutorial is a dungeon as well ), and grind is non-existant, as you only can gain levels/gear by doing dungeons.

The difficulty spikes really hard at the Decisive Battle/Defeat the White Tyrant levels, if you don't have fast reflexes you're gonna get your ass handed to you in those missions, like me.

If you're not from the UK/USA, you're going to need a proxy to play it...I use proxifier ( cracked ). Might have lag and login issues though. Just google "how to play vindictus outside of the usa"

And oh, it's free...IMO, this game would be my favourite, but due to crappy connection issues I cant enjoy it fully =/
