I have a dummy unit that uses an SFX as its model. However, that SFX has a sound which is really out of place and annoying as it is constantly looping.
Is there a way to mute it?
You can remove the sound event object via War3 Model Editor
After you download it, do the following:
-Go to Magos' windows tab then select Node manager
-Sound event objects start with SNDx , remove it to disable the sound.
