[Trigger] is it possible to add a item table to a unit through triggering?

i was wondering if it was possible to add a item table to a unit through triggering. I need it for a map im making and if anyone could give me an example that would be great.

I'm pretty sure you can't, but it's rather easy to make a custom item table. Takes a little more triggering but, it gets the job done.

thanks but i just made my item drop chance system through gui i just wondered if there was an easier way
