Alright,
Hi, I'm Derrick_Mace, a Warcraft World Editor enthusiast. I used to be the biggest fan of this website over a year or two ago, but then real life made me busy as hell, and I forgot about this.
I came back to The Hive Workshop in a mostly fruitless quest to find the maps I found when I first came by. Seeing most maps are at least a year old, I hardly remember their names, and I spend a lot of time just going through the archives to read descriptions in hopes of finding what I'm looking for.
There's this game, designed mostly as a AoS or DotA, but it used General Frank's blood elf models, namely the paladin, archer, and swordmaster. The map used an Ashenvale tile, and had these elementals which switched teams whenever a character destroyed their core. I remember that the rock and fire elementals were at the scourge/burning legion/evil dudes, while the water (and something else) was on the blood elf/alliance/good dudes side.
I know that's a generally poor lead, but other than that, I can only say that it was very artistically done, and it was very memorable. I hope someone could help me find it.
And there is this other RPG, which is coded from A to Z in JASS. Really impressive coding, and it involved this guy who was teleported to an old
man's house (who lives with his daughter or granddaughter). It played like an RPG, and I think the overarching backstory is that the hero is part of a knighthood or...something.
...Egh, yes, introductions. I hope that's all. That is why I'm here. The Hive Workshop was a great resource for me when I started out, and I'm glad I finally actually crawled out of the woodwork and spoke out a bit.
