Hi!
I'm BaronCid from Germany, pleased to be here.
One of my first PC games was WarCraft II, and it was also one of the first games that really hooked me. When a friend of mine showed me WarCraft III some weeks later (it just had come out then) I was totally fascinated by the new presentation, it was one of the reasons I asked my father to buy a new PC with a 3D-graphics-chip back then.
I have been playing various RTS-games since then (StarCraft, Command and Conquer, Dawn of War) but WC3 (along with SC) remains my favourite in the genre.
My hobbies are music composition and creation, video games themselves and also game-design. I love to design games and write pages over pages of design-document-material. This can hook me for hours. I like to analyze what exactly I don't like about some games and then see how exactly those problems can be solved.
I came to the hive workshop to find people to work together with and exchange ideas and thoughts. I would like to start some modding-projects (or rather one at the time) and get into the community a bit.
My strenghts are clearly in the concept-works, though. I'm not such a great editor-operator, that's why I try to find people to co-operate with, people who know most features of the editor and can assist me with finding out what is possible and what not.
Okay then... hope we all come along well,
BaronCid
