Interested in working on an old map

Hello,

New to working on maps but have lots of experience with programming (I do it for a living). I have enjoyed the DBZ Tribute maps for a long time and am interested in putting some work in on them. There are a few exploits I'd like to patch out, and make some QOL improvements to the map. Maybe once I get a feel for the editor perhaps I'd add some features.

Specifically the map starting point I'd like to work from is "DBZ Tribute Ultra V10Beta10". My issue is this seems to be protected, I get an error when I try to load the map into the editor. Now I'm aware that asking about protection is frowned upon so I'll skip past that part. Does anyone know who worked on this or anyone I could reach out to about working on this map? I have only the best intentions to make improvements to the map, patch out problems and make it more fun for the small group of people who still enjoy playing this gem. As far as I'm aware this specific rev of DBZ Trib is no longer under development.. I'd like to change that :D

Thanks!

Looks like they have a website and some social media profiles. Have you tried here?

DBZTribute.com

The other alternative is to create your own interpretation. :)

Fairly sure that website was at on time for the wc3 map, but now it's a fan made dbz film website. Seems unlikely that's the people who made this map.

I could try to remake it from scratch. Unfortunately do not see myself having the time for a project like that anytime soon. Maybe with lua and reforged updated graphics that would be really cool :)

Yup that's the one. I haven't tried to download from that site, only the one I got from in game but it's the same version number, 10b10.

I also saw it posted here:
DBZ Tribute Ultra V10b10

I'll try from some of these sources and see if the maps loads into the editor. I expect likely the same result.
