Wow this is awesome! Who needs Doom 3 or any other game of that kind when you can have this. Besides the UI and icons it is like not even sc2 anymore. You just need a ceiling man, or sky, for some reason the Sky doesnt wanna show if you add it via trigger., at least on a map of mine.

Awesome! All you need now is a senario. Find a way to utilise the jump ability (a very important factor in many FPS games), like choke points where you have to jump up from a derbis to procede, or staff like that.

It's on by default, the far z or field of view (forget which) is the problem, change one of them via triggers.

Nice map by the way, are you planning on making it a co-op survival? The name and extra marines implies as much :p

Hey everyone.

To address some questions:

The projectiles do not follow the ground (anymore, in the first video I had some issues), if you fire across a valley they don't follow the bottom of it. They hit the walls properly as well, and track collision in 3D. The version in the second video uses proper hitscan projectiles for some weapons, but they are not shown (the shotgun fires too many shots to make that feasible in a multiplayer game). However one will no longer need to lead their shots over 5 meters with a sniper rifle.

I will say that I'm looking for ideas on the flamethrower. I really dislike it's animation right now. I'm also looking at fixing the sky, and trying to prevent the ALT key from showing health bars through walls, but I haven't found a solution to either yet.

Yes this will be a coop game, but the focus will be on many small missions. The end goal is to create a mod that lets different people create their own maps and campaigns using the libraries I have made for spawners, use points ect. Honestly my biggest problem right now is I'm having a harder time terraining in SCII then in WCIII.

Wait you mean you did at a skybox ingame? I can't seem to find any skybox background settings in the editor itself. Probably will be implemented later on?

Anyway, awesome map.
