Hey All,

I am creating a trigger where when an Event Timer Ends, a couple inferno's spawn into town.

It works great and they spawn correctly, but I would love for it to show the Animation where they fall from the sky before spawning them.

Is this possible?

You could make a dummy unit that uses infernal rain (or whatever it's called) as soon as the event timer ends. Just create a unit that has no model file, collison size, shadow, etc. Give it the locust ability (so it cannot be selected) and make it fly. Then create it when the timer ends, give it a generic timer, add the ability to it. Make it cast the ability.

I'm not very good at explaining dummy units, but there are some excellent tutorials on this site if you look around a little bit. Good luck.

Basically what you want to do is create a special effect first. It is called "Inferno <Effect>". You would create those effects where the Infernals are going to land and then a second or so later, create the Infernals.

A simpler solution would be as Veritas 117 mentioned above. Create a dummy unit and give it a custom Rain of Chaos.
