Ender's Game isn't really a series but the story is amazing!

Also, if I'm not mistaken, there's a movie coming out.

Don't forget to check out Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke if you like Asimov. They're like the Big Three Fatherly figures for Sci-fi fictions.

Both of their popular works are made into movie-adaptations just like Asimov's I, Robot, Heinlein's being Starship Troopers and Clarke's being the legendary Space Odyssey.

@dracemia Ender's game is a series, Speaker for the Dead, Xeonocide, Children of the Mind. ( I don't like the last 2 as much as I liked the first) and then there is Enders Shadow it is similar to Enders Game(they both are about the same time frame), but it is about Bean.

I have read Arthur C. Clarke, but I haven't read Robert A. Heinlein
BTW I robot has no real relation to any of Isaac Asmovs books, other then the 3 laws and the fact that it has Dr Calvin.

@Arcisial I read the first of the Game of Thrones and didn't like it.
I'll have to read Brandon Sanderson's The Stormlight Archive.

Try Robert Sheckley - if you like Pratchett you're just gonna love his books. "Untouched by Human Hands" is a book with some of his short stories. Some of the best, though they forgot to put some of the short stories that are simply amazing. Sheckley writes short stories :\ he's the best in that. And, are you sure you read everything by Pratchett? I wouldn't say you have :D it's quite a lot. I mean, if you count the books which aren't from the World of the Disk (is it like that in English?)... try Masklin.. I.. loved that one :\

I always found it amusing that Fantasy is so ghetto its books are placed in the SciFi section in many countries I've been to (ok, just Germany and France really). The situation is definitely different in Sweden, at least.
