In need of an mp3 compressor

Hi guys,

I was wondering if somebody could point me to a program that can lower my mp3 file size without losing too much quality. I am using Audacity and exporting the sounds as an mp3, but it is still too big(Around 1mb per minute). The problem is not that the sound is bugged, or made by a noob, rather it is really really high quality, so can anybody give me a link to a program that will reduce that quality(not by much) and reduce it size(by much).

It is hard to reduce your filesize without losing quality,
you'll need to live with that

You might try creating loops or something if you need music in your map.

don't lower the quality under 112 kbps it will sound like hell
better do what Heero said, create loops especially if you're using only instrumentals

use goldwave its the best audio editor
dont convert the song using batch converter cause it wont recompile or recompress the music so open using the editor and save it as whatever u wish

Gold wave is really hard to use in comparison to Audacity I think.

I use FL studio and i can export mp3's at 64kbps without any quality loss
So if you need anything compress ask me I made a 4 minute instrumental 1.8Mb and sounds same as 320kbps quality. yah my email is [email protected] if you need anything guys. i make music too if you need that as well.

There are plenty of free compression programs that can do the work for you, such as Audacity, so as generous as your service is, most people can spare the hassle and do it themselves
