Importing custom Mods

I am new at this. I clicked on the "how to downlaod" i followed it upto the part of actually importin into world editor. The problem is that i don't have a import button on my world editor. I dont have the expansion, could that be the reason or do i just have an older version of warcraft 3 reign of chaos.

Yes Reign of Chaos does not have an import manager. I do know its possible to import models into roc though I believe you download the mpq editor and it will allow you to import models into roc.

Thx. I downloaded it and it is now in a file on my screen. Just so that i do this right can you tell me step by step how to bring it into world editor.

Sorry i've never used the mpq editor i've had tft forever. My guess is that it merges files from the editor with the models. Does it have a readme?
