I'm working on a series of alternate melees, all with the same races. Is it possible to take the race data from one map and put it in another, instead of making all the units and abilities all over again? If so, how do you do it?

So, let me see if I got it right.....if a import a data pack exported from another map, it will overwrite all data completely? Even if for example in one map I changed some units and in the other different units from the first map? Can you also please give me a link to this merger?:)

It will replace all custom data, so if you already had custom data in the new map, it will disappear.

Merger?? You go like this: World Editor => Object Editor => File => Export All Object Data, then you open the new map and go: Object Editor => Import All Object Data You do not go to import manager, you import the data directly from the object editor

is it possible to add soundsets without replacing existing ones?
Unfortunately it isn't possible. Maybe with some triggers, but I think no one ever managed to do that properly. You need to replace some soundsets that are unnecessary. Most likely you don't need all of them in one map. And next time you have any unrelated questions, make a new thread instead of asking here.
