Oh yes... we all know it. Once you import something (blp,mdx, ect.) you always have to restart the editor for it to show up. This is very time-consuming to me.... Oh a new smiley...

Incorrect. You do not have to restart the editor, you can just click Save Map. It might be easier for you to import all the models you want in your map first then work on it. This saves time saving the map.
If you type in an incorrect file path in the import manager and save, you will have to first type in the correct unit path then save and restart the editor.
Save Map always refreshes it if you don't try to view it with the Object Editor first. It's easy to get in the habit of not doing that, so that's really not much of a problem (unless you type an incorrect path)
