Icon Requesting

Hello.

In this thread I'm requesting 7 Medal Icons. To make the request easier and the icons look like a little same(as they are all part of item set in the game) I'll allow you to create just one basic background. However the markings in the Medals must be different.

The themes are: Aider, Savior, Heroism, Friendship, Valor and Power. The seventh icon is combination of all the themes I mentioned(it is the full set).

Here's a picture I draw quicky to help you. My picture is just an example and maybe gives you some ideas. The icons in that black background are from a game called "Sins of Solar Empire".

1 = Angel wings
2 = star
3 = helping hand
4 = I don't know
5 = I don't know
6 = IMBA!

I'll use the icons for The Chosen Ones campaign. The icons are part of a powerful item set. When the player have all six parts the final item is given to the player and it is one of the most powerful items in the whole campaign!

Rep and credits for the helper. You can also share the icons with other map makers, upload to the Icon section and maybe even create a Pack to the Packs section.

If so, then I'll finish by compiling them into .blp + plus disabled icons etc.

Hello.

I'm really sorry to say but I think we have one major mistake with your icons. The icons doesn't actually look items or medals a hero would wear. I was expecting the background to be like some of these(not just black):

The symbols are really nice... But I just can't accept those icons right now. Once again I'm sorry. :/

That's alright. My fault for not reading the "item" requirement. I though this was to be like an ability upgrade or tech tree icon.

Well, at least I made some icons that I might use in my own map. ...someday... :thumbs_up:

Do you mean you want the BLP files, or do you mean make the medal itself look like Blizzard icons?

I'm impressed by your work, Captain_Rufar. I really am. I'm gonna add these icons proudly to the campaign.

Hey why don't you add these icons to Icon and Pack sections as well? These icons deserves some attention! I'm sure someone else will make a great item set from them too.

I've updated both MedalValor and MedalPower. I wasn't quite happy with them, and I wanted them to look their best for the upload to the icons section.

The new MedalValor was actually in the pack I gave you (it was slightly different than the image I'd previously posted).

As for the new MedalPower, you may as well just download it straight from the icons section, once its uploaded (I've made the glow orange instead of that horrible yellow).
